Timeline for Interactive Calendar Group
Week 4
- 10 Minute Presentation: "The description should communicate what you plan to do and how you plan to go about doing it. You should include a schedule detailing activities that will allow you to understand your user community and their tasks, what design activities you plan, how you will iteratively evolve designs, and how you will evaluate them." Ready to go by Monday night, pdf preferred.
- Interviews: Conduct initial contextual interviews, evaluate different techniques (retrospection, notepad-logs, scenarios, etc.)
Week 5
- Settle on preferred interview method, finish conducting initial contextual interviews.
- Interpretation sessions.
- Begin modelling and consolidating.
- Midterm this week.
Week 6
- First interpretation sessions, modelling and consolidating.
- Begin creating designs.
- We will be discussing presentations and our final paper in class.
Week 7
Week 8
- Continue iterating design through paper prototyping sessions.
- Use prototype in a new round of interviews
- We will be presenting our data in class.
Week 9
- Finalize design
- Prepare final presentation
- Begin preparing final paper
